Twelve of the fifteen are the Zodiac Circle: one pierced silver disc for each animal of the Chinese zodiac, most of them set with African opal, three with topaz, amethyst or garnet instead. The other three are the pendant-brooches — a dragonfly in black garnet, a horse in amethyst and blue topaz, a butterfly in blue sapphire — which unpin from the chain and can be worn either way.
