THE STONE WAS NEVER TAMED

We can cut it, polish it, set it in silver. The one thing we have never managed is to make it.

Every stone that leaves this studio was finished long before we found it. Formed in the dark, under pressure, over a span of time nobody alive can hold in their head. No one designed it. No one approved it.

We think some women recognise themselves in that.
