for love
Garnet is named after a fruit. Granatum — the pomegranate. Break one open and the reason is obvious: rows of dark red seeds packed under a hard skin, which is more or less what a garnet-bearing rock looks like when you split it.
It has been the January stone for as long as the modern list has existed, and it was buried with people for a long time before that.
Every piece here is set with natural garnet in solid 925 sterling silver.
