The stones
Are they real?
Yes. Natural stone throughout, unless a product page says otherwise — no glass, no reconstituted composite, no dyed imitation sold as the real thing. Where a stone has been heated, irradiated, coated or created in a laboratory, which is normal and standard practice in the trade, the product page says so plainly. Some designs use cubic zirconia or other created stones as small accents around the main natural stone; where they do, it is listed.
Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?
No, and this is the point. The stone in the photograph is a different stone, and it has already gone to someone else. Yours will have its own veining, clouding and depth of colour. The cut, the setting and the size will match what you ordered. The stone will be its own.
What metal do you use?
Solid sterling silver (925), always. Some designs then carry a plated finish over that silver — gold, rose gold, black rhodium or rhodium — which is where the two-tone look comes from. Plating is a surface finish and it wears with time; the silver underneath does not. We never use plated base metal. Solid silver can tarnish, which is what solid silver does; a polishing cloth takes it off in a minute.
The bracelets are a separate line: natural stone beads on elastic with stainless steel spacers. Their pages say so, and they do not claim silver.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Sterling silver is well tolerated by most people. It contains a small amount of copper, so if you know you react to copper, tell us before ordering and we will talk about options. We cannot advise on anyone's individual skin or health — that is a conversation for a doctor, not a jeweller.
Which stone should I choose?
Two honest routes. Start from what you are carrying at the moment and shop by intention, or start from the stone that caught your eye and trust that. Both are legitimate. There is more on each stone in The Codex.
Do the stones do anything?
We will tell you what a stone has traditionally been carried for, and by whom, and for how long — because that history is real and it is interesting. We make no medical, therapeutic or health claims, and we would be wary of anyone who does. Some people feel something. Some don't. If you don't, it is still a beautiful stone.
What does "coded to an intention" actually mean?
You choose one of six intentions when you order: Love, Abundance, Protection, Clarity, Courage or Stillness. A card goes in the parcel naming the stone and the intention you chose.
It is a card, not a claim. We are not telling you the object will do something to you. What it is, honestly, is the difference between an ornament and a thing that means something — and whether that matters is entirely up to you.
Can I change my intention after ordering?
Yes, if you email us within 48 hours — before the parcel is dispatched. After that it is already on its way.
Ordering and delivery
What does delivery cost?
Nothing at all in the United Kingdom. UK delivery is free on every order, tracked and signed for — free delivery starts at £39, and £39 is the price of the least expensive piece we sell.
To Europe and Australia the delivery is free on any order over £50. Below that there is a small tracked postage: £5.95 to Europe, £7.95 to Australia. You see it at the checkout before you pay, and nothing is ever added afterwards. Full detail on Delivery.
How long does it take to arrive?
To the United Kingdom, 5–10 days — usually within a week. To Europe 6–12 working days, to Australia 8–15 working days. Your piece is posted to you directly from our maker, tracked and signed for.
The product page shows the real latest date it should reach you. It moves forward every day and it is not a countdown put there to hurry you.
Will I be charged anything when it arrives?
In the United Kingdom, no. Your parcel travels to you as an import, so in the unlikely event that a carrier asks you for an import charge at the door, send us the receipt and we refund it in full. That one is ours, not yours. The same is true in Australia under A$1,000, where customs collects nothing at all.
In the European Union, yes, and we will not pretend otherwise. Since 1 July 2026 every parcel from outside the Union carries customs duty plus your own country's import VAT — in practice about 20–30% of the price, plus the carrier's handling fee. It is charged by your government, collected by the carrier, and we cannot take it at the checkout. It is set out in full on Delivery.
Is there a discount for buying more than one?
Yes, and you do not need a code. On rings, necklaces and bracelets, two pieces take 10% off and three or more take 15%. On the bracelets it is better still — two take 25% off, three take 30%. It comes off in the basket by itself, and you always get whichever discount is best for you.
Is there VAT on top?
No. The price on the product page is the price you pay — in the United Kingdom there is not even postage to add. We are not currently registered for UK VAT, so no VAT is charged and none is added at the checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email within 48 hours and we will change anything — size, intention, address — or cancel it entirely. After that the parcel has been dispatched and we cannot recall it, but you still have the 14-day right to change your mind once it arrives.
Do you gift wrap?
Everything arrives wrapped, with the card naming the stone and the intention. There is no separate gift option because there is no un-gift version. Tell us if it is a present and we will make sure no price goes in the parcel.
What if it doesn't fit?
Non-engraved pieces can be returned within 14 days. See Size & Fit before ordering — measuring properly takes two minutes and saves a return.
Can I return it?
14 days, unworn, in its wrapping. Anything faulty: always, at our cost. Full detail on Returns & Refunds, and there is a Model Cancellation Form if you would rather use set wording.
Care
Can I shower or swim in it?
No. Turquoise, opal, moonstone, selenite and pearl are porous or soft and water will dull them permanently. Chlorine and salt water are worse, and they strip a plated finish faster than anything else. Take it off.
Perfume and hand cream?
Jewellery last, always. Perfume, cream and hairspray sit in the setting and film over the stone.
How do I clean it?
A dry soft cloth. Silver polish on the metal only, never across the stone, and never on a plated surface — polish takes plating off. No ultrasonic cleaners, no jewellery dip, no toothpaste; all three will damage natural stone.
How do I store it?
In its wrapping, out of direct sunlight. Amethyst, rose quartz and citrine fade in sun over time, and the fading does not come back.
Us
What does "Asi" mean?
It is Turkish. It means untamed — the one that was never made to obey. It describes the stone and, we suspect, the person wearing it.
Who is the seller?
The full registered name, company number and registered address are set out on Legal & Company Information and in our Terms & Conditions.
