Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Nothing in them removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who you are contracting with

This website is operated by Sengun Electronics Ltd, trading as Asi8, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15496485, registered office 4 Raven Road, Unit 1c3-225, London E18 1HB. "We", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means the person placing the order.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. We sell to consumers, not for resale. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, is intended for resale, or where we simply cannot make what has been asked for — and if we do, you get a full refund.

3. Products, stones and photographs

Every piece is made individually from natural stone. That means:

  • Your piece will not be identical to the photograph. The stone in the photograph is a different stone and has already been sold.
  • Inclusions, veining, clouding and variation in colour and depth are inherent to natural stone. They are characteristics of the material, not defects.
  • Where a stone has been heated, irradiated, coated, stabilised or dyed — all standard and accepted practice in the trade — the product page says so.
  • Where a stone is laboratory-created or synthetic rather than mined, the product page says so plainly and in the same words we would use for a natural one. Some designs use cubic zirconia or other created stones as accents around the main natural stone.
  • Screens render colour differently. We photograph as honestly as we can, but no photograph is a colour guarantee.

Metal. Every piece is solid sterling silver (925). Some designs carry a plated finish over that silver — gold, rose gold, black rhodium or rhodium — which is where the two-tone colouring comes from. Plating is a surface finish and it wears with time; the silver beneath it does not. We never plate base metal.

4. What we do not claim

We describe the traditional and historical uses of stones — what they have been carried for, by whom, and for how long. This is cultural and historical information, offered as such.

We make no medical, therapeutic, healing, psychological or health claims of any kind about any product we sell. Nothing we publish is medical advice, and no product we sell is a medical device or a substitute for professional care. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified professional.

5. Prices, tax and delivery cost

Prices are in pounds sterling. Delivery is free on every order, with no minimum, so the price shown on the product page is the price you pay at the checkout.

VAT. Sengun Electronics Ltd is not currently registered for UK VAT, as our turnover is below the registration threshold. Prices contain no VAT element, no VAT is charged on your order, and we cannot issue a VAT invoice. If our circumstances change we will update this page before it affects any order.

We can change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a piece listed at a fraction of its material cost — we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you, and you can pay the correct price or have a full refund.

6. When the contract is made

Adding to your basket is not an order. Paying is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not conclude the contract.

The contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your stone has been chosen and work has begun — normally within 3 to 5 days. Before that point we may cancel and refund in full for any reason.

7. Made to order, and what that means for time

Nothing is held in stock. Each piece is made after you order it, which takes up to 20 days before dispatch, and 5 to 10 days longer for engraved or bespoke work. Delivery time is added to that.

Our outside limit for delivery is 30 days from the date of your order unless we have agreed a longer period with you in writing for bespoke work. If we are going to miss that, we will tell you before it happens and you may cancel for a full refund.

8. Changes and cancellation before dispatch

You can change or cancel anything within 48 hours of ordering by emailing us. After that your stone has been chosen and work has started; from that point cancellation is governed by the Returns & Refunds policy.

9. Your right to cancel, and its limits

For most pieces you have 14 days from delivery to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You may tell us any way you like — a plain email is enough — or use the Model Cancellation Form if you would rather have the wording set out for you.

That right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised — under Regulation 28(1)(b). For us that means engraved pieces, bespoke commissions, and pieces made to specifications you have supplied. Choosing one of our six standard intentions does not make a piece bespoke.

This limit never applies to faulty goods. Full detail on Returns & Refunds.

10. Faulty goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If yours are not, you have 30 days to reject them for a full refund, and rights to repair or replacement after that. We pay return postage on faulty goods.

11. Care and wear

Natural stone is not indestructible, and a plated finish is a surface. Damage caused by water, chemicals, perfume, impact, ultrasonic cleaning, polishing a plated surface, or ordinary wear over time is not a manufacturing fault. Care instructions are on Questions and on each product page, and following them is your responsibility.

12. Delivery and risk

Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us. Title passes when we have been paid in full. If you give us an incorrect address and the parcel is lost as a result, we cannot replace a piece that was made individually for you.

13. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the price you paid for the item concerned.

14. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including supply failures of a particular stone. If such an event causes serious delay we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund.

15. Your information

Handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

16. Intellectual property

All content on this site — photographs, text, designs and the Asi8 name — belongs to us and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.

17. Complaints

Email asi8@asi8.com. We aim to respond within five working days. If we cannot resolve it, free independent advice is available from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
