Rose Quartz

The love stone, and the only one on this list that is given more often than it is bought. Rose quartz has been worn for love, self-love, tenderness and forgiveness — and, in most of the older traditions, specifically for the person who is hard on themselves and gentle with everyone else.

The pink is usually microscopic fibres of borosilicate threaded through the quartz. It does not fade in the way dyed stone fades, because nothing was added.
