Morganite

The colour the sky goes about four minutes before anyone calls it morning. Morganite is the compassion stone — worn for gentle love, patience and starting from where you are rather than where you meant to be.

Beryl again, like aquamarine and emerald; manganese makes the pink. Named in 1911 after J. P. Morgan, who collected rather a lot of it.
