Amazonite

The green-blue of shallow water, and a colour that does not raise itself. Amazonite is the truth-teller's stone — worn for communication, honesty and the courage to say the thing steadily rather than loudly. Older sources call it the hope stone.

It is microcline feldspar. The colour is lead traces inside the crystal, not a coating, so it does not sit on the surface waiting to wear off.
