Depending on who is translating, this one is a goat, a sheep or a ram — the Chinese word covers all three, and English has never agreed with itself about which to use.
The stone is different on this one
The Goat pendant carries natural African opal together with chrome diopside, the deep green that reads almost black in low light and turns emerald under a lamp. It is mined in Yakutia in a short window each year, when the ground is frozen hard enough to work.

But the zodiac year begins at Chinese New Year, not on 1 January, and that date moves between 21 January and 20 February. A birthday in January or the first half of February usually belongs to the animal before. The box on the product page does that sum for you.

Your own zodiac year
