Year of the Dragon — Chinese Zodiac Necklace

The only one of the twelve nobody has ever seen.

Eleven of these animals can be found in a field. The dragon cannot, and the cycle put it in anyway, at the hour when the morning fog lifts. Chen is the double hour of 07:00 to 09:00, and its element is earth, which for the one animal that flies is a joke the system does not explain.

It is the most requested sign of the twelve, and birth rates measurably rise in dragon years across several countries. People plan for it.

Is this your sign?

The Dragon years are 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 and 2024.

But the zodiac year begins at Chinese New Year, not on 1 January, and that date moves between 21 January and 20 February. A birthday in January or the first half of February usually belongs to the animal before — anyone born in early February 2024, for instance, is a Rabbit rather than a Dragon. The box on the product page does that sum for you.

Your own zodiac year

Every twelfth year is your own animal's year again — běnmìngnián. Traditionally it is the year people wear their own sign, and it is the usual reason one of these is bought as a gift. The next Dragon year is 2036.
